The year 2020 has allowed Al Bonian FM to cement that trust even further. They have showed flexibility and understanding in service delivery throughout the contracts and have maintained a personalised touch. Even during 2020, they managed to retain all of their clients, even gaining new ones. They have managed to keep salary cuts to a bare minimum for only two months and kept nearly all of the employees, even recruiting new ones.
Tony Martin, CEO, Al Bonian FM elaborates on the initiatives, key highlights and the vision for the company in the coming year.
By the first week of March 2020, COVID-19 had made its way to Al Bonian FM’s management team with one of the Directors testing positive. This was an unprecedent event and our preparedness level was basic. Our team put together a detailed Business Continuity Plan overnight following international guidelines. This allowed Al Bonian FM to be one of the earliest and most prepared companies for when the national sterilisation program was in full swing by mid-March. We worked together with our clients and business partners to supply sufficient PPEs to our personnel. We redistributed our shifts and staff accommodation to ensure minimal contact was occurring amongst our team. We carried out regular disinfections and COVID-testing to guarantee the safety of our people and our clients.
Our biggest win from 2020 is our people – their heart and dedication have gone above and beyond for the company. Al Bonian FM’s staff showed unexpected levels of resilience and loyalty during this year, when we were all being challenged physically and mentally. Our biggest asset will always be our people from technicians and cleaners all the way to the management team, their skills and know-how. This year has allowed us to see how trustworthy our team really is, and with them we look forward to a bright and prosperous future.
Our vision to inspire healthier and safer places to work and live resonates even more than before. 2021 will be no different in that we will continue to improve our level of service, invest in our personnel, and remain dedicated to our clients. We will use what we’ve learned to springboard into the new year, expanding our horizons and exploring new territories in the world of communities and people.
