In 2021, Ejadah, one of the leading asset management companies, managed to maintain its remarkable growth trajectory and record significant gains, represented by the addition of several prestigious contracts to an already impressive portfolio of clients.
Contracts awarded during the year include Louvre Abu Dhabi, Qasr Al Watan, Mohammad Bin Rashid City - Meydan, Dragon Mart, as well as Expo 2020. Given that the Covid situation is still standing and special measures are still being exercised to a certain degree, 2021 was another challenging year, albeit much easier than 2020.
"Owing to the huge government efforts, as well as the vaccine drive, both at the national level and here in Ejadah, we witnessed great economic recovery. The lifting of most restrictions in the workplace has helped normalise operations and service delivery to our clients. An important highlight of 2021 is the success of Expo 2020, the long-awaited mega event previously delayed due to Covid," says Tarek Nizameddin, senior executive director, Ejadah Asset Management.
Ejadah’s security management business vertical Arkan, is supporting the security functions at Expo, working with all Expo teams to ensure optimum management of all security aspects, and providing the work force to meet the requirements of the Mobile Response Teams (MRT).
The 2022 Impact
Innovation and constant development are the pillars of Ejadah’s success and excellence and have enabled the company to spearhead great transformations in the FM industry as a whole.
Ejadah’s team is continuously assessing the current practices and introducing new methodologies that will enhance the company’s performance.
"We recently completed the upgrade of Ejadah’s Maximo system to CAFM - Maximo 7.6 Cloud. We have also successfully implemented robotic process automation in our shared support services including supply chain management, human resources, and finance, in addition to the launch of the upgraded employee app. Furthermore, we are currently working on a state-of-the-art application for Shabaka customers," says Tarek.
The vision
As always, Ejadah has an ambitious future vision for both EJADAH short term and long term. "Our plans for the next year encompass the implementation of several new innovative products and technology that were deferred in the past due to COVID-19. The company is preparing to launch these products in 2022 to add more value to the services that Ejadah offers its clients and support the advancement of FM in MENA," he adds.
The company is also evaluating opportunities for further expansion in business by offering new services and entering new markets and segments.
