Established in 1965 and part of the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group, TTE is a prominent name in design and built MEP projects and solutions, Facilities Management, and trading of electro-mechanical equipment and parts for various industries and segments.
Talking about the key highlights of 2021, Dilip Kumar Sharma, Executive Vice President of TTE, says that the move from a disconnected digital to a connected digital was a significant step in their digital transformation. The integration of CAFM with SAP-ERP has resulted in delivering data-led, unified Facilities Management services, a unique offering in the region. More specifically, TTE has seen a 20% increase in efficiency in internal workflows. The use of real-time data has enabled faster response rates to customer queries, efficiency in customer management, and increased visibility in operations.
Another highlight was the addition of a cutting-edge Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) solution to TTE’s reliable and energy-efficient offerings, with the introduction of the award-winning REME HALO® in-duct air purifier. The REME-PHI--CELL® technology incorporated in the REME HALO® is effective against all three categories of indoor air pollutants, namely Particulates, Microbial, and Gases, and it has been thoroughly tested on airborne and surface bacteria and viruses, such as SARS-COV-2 (Covid-19), MRSA and e-coli.
The REME HALO® in-duct purifier is the next generation of IAQ technology, capable of purifying every cubic inch of air reached by a central air conditioning system and eliminating sick building syndrome risks by reducing odours and air pollutants.
TTE received its Energy Saving Company (ESCO) accreditation this year, enabling it to advise clients on Energy Conservation Measures. As a fully accredited company, TTE can track actual energy usage on the client’s premises and map out an energy efficiency project and estimate savings. This is then used to calculate savings from the energy conservation measures, based on which prospective clients are guided on the solutions and systems for their premises.
The 2022 impact
In TTE the priority has on making a mindful shift from a replace mindset to a repair mindset. The focus is on increasing the life cycle of an asset, by determining its threshold limit and building a stronger asset management strategy, with business sustainability as the TECHNICAL & TRADING EST (TTE) end goal. TTE has been able to avoid millions of Cap-Ex investments for clients with this shift.
"As a sustainability partner, TTE is promoting the use of ozone-friendly refrigeration gas. TTE has migrated from R22 to R410A, with McKinley, its brand of refrigerants. Tested as per UAE AHRI1700 standards, TTE refrigerants are suitable for applications such as room air conditioners, automobile air conditioners, refrigerators, and chillers," say Dilip.
TTE also works closely with clients for the promotion and adoption of solar energy. As a value addition to existing clients, the design analysis and energy study are provided free of cost as our contribution towards prospective clients’ sustainability journey.
As an Integrated FM contractor, TTE can design and implement all ESCO measures, including solar rooftop solutions.
The vision!
TTE is spearheading an IoT implementation, wherein Chiller Cooling operations can be optimized based on temperature sensing across various touchpoints within the premises. This has a positive and significant impact on the building's performance, operations, and occupant wellbeing, resulting in substantial benefits and cost savings across the business. With over five decades of FM experience in the region and with support of the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group, TTE has an end-to-end IoT vision and the capabilities required to convert this vision into reality.
